My goal for this prototype was, to show that I can work with premade assets, and that I can recreate and expand set game mechanics.

    The idea to develop this engine originated from a previous university assignment, where I had to create a simple 2D Platformer game.
    My goal with this engine was to provide the user with tools that allow to set the local gravity per tile/region for some unique gameplay scenarios.

    During my transition from Artist to Programmer I worked on a 3D Platformer in Unity.
    This project is a Nintendo 64 inspired 3D Platformer Collectathon, in which the main character needs to restore a Book of Spells.

    This project was an introduction to using the 3rd dimension and matrices in programming.

    This project introduced me to working together with other programmers and to create an RTS (Real Time Strategy) framework.

  • Implemented Vector Field pathfinding.

    This was my first basic 2D Platformer Project.
    To keep my 2D platformer unique, I took inspiration from Nintendo’s Super Mario Galaxy, to implement walkable planets with their own gravity in the scene.

  • The player can walk on 2d planets
  • Uses the OpenGL library.
