RTS Engine AI

Sept. 2017 – Nov. 2017

This project introduced me to working together with other programmers and to create an RTS (Real Time Strategy) framework.

The player can create some units and order them to navigate through the map.

What I learned:

  • Using Vector Field pathfinding to guide a group of entities to a shared goal location
  • Using flocking, separation and grouping for the aforementioned group of entities
  • Working together with other programmers and their set-up systems.
